I commissioned Jackie to paint a photo of our home of 22 years. We were moving after raising our four boys in the home & I wanted a meaningful keepsake. The rendering was absolutely perfect. By coincidence I met Jackie at a holiday market where she was showing her pet portraits. My brother's dog had died a few days previously, so I commissioned her to do a portrait of my brother's dog as a Christmas gift to him. The painting was so spot on- it moved both myself and my brother to tears. 

 

Then after seeing a collage, she had done for a college student as a graduation gift from a family member, I had the idea to have her do a collage for me of the 4 years i spent abroad in Brussels in my youth. Jackie so perfectly captured my favorite places and memories from those 4 years. The detail in the watercolor and ink was insane. I could not be more thrilled with the outcome. After a quick review or two, the final project was done in less than 2 weeks. 

I shared the final piece on my social media, and let me say, my friends from Brussels were so amazed at the outcome. It's as if Jackie was there with us 40 years ago.

I first reached out to Jackie for a commissioned portrait of our dog Ginger which I wanted to surprise my husband with for his birthday. Jackie was quick to respond and so easy to communicate with. She asked great questions so that she could capture our pooch perfectly. She completed the portrait in plenty of time for my husband’s birthday and he couldn’t have been happier.
